Formé il y a à peine plus d’un an par des membres de Guerilla Poubelle, Dead Pop Club, Jetsex et Justin(e), MALADROIT accouche déjà de son 1er album "Jerk Alert !". Punk-rock urgent et spontané inspiré par Teenage Bottlerocket, Dear Landlord, Nerf Herder ou Screeching Weasel. Les constructions sont ultra basiques, les refrains effroyablement accrocheurs et les solos de guitare à un doigt hyper agaçants. Le propos (en français et en anglais) est léger et fun mais toujours maculé de lose et de mal-être incurable. Ça parle de la vie en tournée, de filles, de frustrations... toujours sincère et touchant, MALADROIT fait de la musique de filles pour les mecs, à moins que ça ne soit l’inverse !

Created at the end of 2009 by members of Guerilla Poubelle, Dead Pop Club, Jetsex and Justin(e), MALADROIT just released its first album "JERK ALERT !". 13 urgent and spontaneous punk rock tracks inspired by the likes of Teenage Bottlerocket, Dear Landlord, Nerf Herder and Screeching Weasel. The song structures are simple, the choruses incredibly catchy and the guitar solos, played with one finger, almost annoying. What does MALADROIT sing about ? Simple and fun stuff (in english and in french), real life, loser experiences and uneasiness. This includes songs about life on the road, girls, frustration... Always honest and moving, MALADROIT writes girl music for boys. Unless it's the other way around!
